David Mellor

David spent 25 years in banking with HSBC and Deutsche Bank, with significant experience at executive management level.  He worked predominantly in the City, but also worked on deal assignments in Brussels, Frankfurt, New York and Silicon Valley.

A significant part of David’s Corporate Finance experience stems from his time as a Managing Director of an in-house venture capital fund at Deutsche Bank, which made 15 strategic investments, with a book value of £65m, in young technology companies.

David left the banking world in 2001 and embarked upon a portfolio career with a focus on entrepreneurship.
